Do you have rights as a worker?  What are your opportunities for work at age 14 in MN?


You will be entering the work force (if you haven't already) and will be affected by minimum wage regulations.


Laws concerning payment to employees are outlined at the MN Dept. of Labor and Industry site.


Where, and how long, can you work if you are under 16?  Check that out at the same MN Dept. of Labor and Industry site.

1. Research the minimum wage and child labor requirements at the links above.
